Quote of the Day: Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like. David Alan Harvey, about photography
(This post is appearing a day late because I had problems uploading photos to my blog. It didn’t give me the browse option to chose photos from my computer. Have any other Bloggers experienced this? I’m already paying the extra fee to use as many photos as I like, so why doesn’t the browse option appear?)
Naturally, I couldn’t chose just one photo from our Christmas celebrations. So, here are the highlights.
My mom and I worked together to make the Biker Chef a quilt out of his old Harley-Davidson t-shirts.
Gave my mom photos of her making things in the kitchen.
All six of the kids were home for Christmas this year. Mom and Dad were so happy!
I had a great time celebrating with my four sons, sister Joy, and The Biker Chef!
Bobby was home from college in Texas. So great to have him around and catch up!
Even Leo got in on the fun.
Go. Create. Inspire!
Journaling Prompt: How were the holidays for you? Any surprises? Were you able to spend time with loved ones? I hope so.
The blanket from the t-shirts is a cool idea. Glad the whole family was there for your parents.
The blanket is very cool. Thanks for posting pictures!
I have been saving the years of football ts just for that.
Looks like a house full of love and fun times to me.
That quilt is very cool! It looks like a wonderful holiday filled with love. I had the same trouble uploading pictures. I found that if I switched to the html version to upload and than back to write my post I got around it.
Mary, that hasn’t happened to me but I’m glad you warned me. I would have been super frustrated! I paid the extra fee too. Hmmm. Well, I LOVE the quilt and the photo gift. What awesome ideas, and I’m sure they were truly appreciated. Who gets handmade gifts anymore, and yet they are the best. I might borrow the photo idea at least, now that I have a decent camera. I’m going to have to zip over to the other blog now. Happy New Year again, friend. Missed seeing you but at the very least, there’s always YAC! 🙂
I remember you mentioning making a quilt, and it is an awesome gift for the Biker Chef. I have friend who is a chef, and his brother is a biker…
Glad you had a complete gathering this year. The quilt sounds great.
A personalized blanket is always a nice gift.
I was having a lot of problems uploading photos from my computer. Now, I first copy the ones I want to post to Picasa and then upload them to my blog from there. It’s pretty fast and also allows for multiple photo uploads at the same time.
