I am grateful to be offering classes again at Central Lakes College with the cooperation of Patrick Spradlin, Jean Beckmann, George Marsolek, and the theatre department. We were fortunate enough to get a grant to expand children’s theatre programming at the college. I am excited to be part of this program, helping it develop, and making it grow. Last fall we had some great press. You can watch a video on Lakeland Public Television, under their Golden Apples segment, about the program, including interviews with the kids.

You can also watch the Mystic Middle School performance on Youtube. Thank you to Tim Larson for filming it!
Students have had tons of fun in these workshops. We work on an original script together. They develop their own characters. I give them a setting, and an outline, and they fill in the details. It is an amazing collaborative work. Kids gain confidence as they work on their art and develop friendships.
If you’re in the area and want to participate, call Jean at CLC to register, 218-855-8253.
Go. Create. Inspire!
