Quote of the Day: For the pathway that lies before me, my Heavenly Father knows – I’ll trust Him to unfold the moments just as He unfolds the rose. Unknown, found in a travel journal.

First college visit with first-born son.
We had a great day together. He talked to me the whole way home about his career, school, my education, education in general, teaching, life. It was great. A moment I treasure.
Go. Create. Inspire!
Journaling Prompt: Describe a time where you stood at the crossroads. Which way did you go?
How lucky for both of you, Mary.

Sounds like you had a great time. College is such an exciting time.
Mary, I totally drove past that spot last night! Worked an event downtown at the Plains Art Museum. NDSU has really grown and has so much to offer. I’m selfishly hoping Bobby will choose Fargo as his first college home! No matter where he ends up, I know it’s going to be a wonderful adventure…for all of you. 🙂
I loved my time at NDSU as an older than average student in 1997 and 1998.. marvelous instructors..friendly students. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about the school or the instructors. I wish my girls had gone there..one went to BSU and then for her MFA at Mankato. The other went to Moorhead State and then UND for Nursing. Both got good educations..so I am sure where ever your son goes it will be a good experience. They grow up so fast.
Crossroads..should I go back to school as an older than average student or not..I loved it..and could have remained a student the rest of my life or ended up with a degree..but neither happened..I did learn enough to have a very successful Horticulture based Business for many years:)
Good times, we loved going on the college tours here. There’s so much to see and to consider … Enjoy!
What a great bonding time, and yet another letting go. So glad you had time for lots of conversation!
University! Hard to believe how time flies. Your first visit is a forever memory that will warm your heart. My hub, the sports enthusiast, is a fan of NDSU football! We watched a really good game on ESPN last season.
Mary, remember that special feeling you wrote about when your play was performed? I had that feeling last night at 11:32 when Remy flew to Kindle. This morning, when I saw “Remy Broussard’s Christmas” as ‘active’, tears fell. Thank you, thank you for your support!
